Hello Friends, Yesterday I sat down for a wonderful meeting with a group of writer friends who were curious about Substack. This was a group of people I knew from their profiles, so it was very fun to chat with them in a video conference. It’s always nice to have an opportunity to strengthen connections! This is what community building means! We need to each other! As your subscriber list grows into the thousands, you start to have an impact on the world. Be a force of kindness! We need that. Let’s drown out all the negative feelings with our positive vibe. Let’s help each other. It’s a better way to live! The meeting went well, but early on I got my wires crossed and I started saying “Slack” when I meant to say “Stripe.” It’s actually a comical example of how my brain works. When I’m reaching into the murky depths of my subconscious, my catag system churned up the first short word starting with “S” that it came across. Fortunately, Robin Wilding immediately recognized my mistake and saved the day!
