La importancia del black-book en el desarrollo del graffiti, por Germán Bel (Fasim) "Desde sus inicios a mediados de los años sesenta y hasta el final de los años ochenta (la época dorada de los vagones del metro de Nueva York), el graffiti (writing) experimentó una evolución artística muy acelerada en tan solo unos pocos años y fue en parte gracias a una de las herramientas más privadas de los writers y menos conocidas por el gran público: los black-books, los cuadernos de dibujo donde los escritores de graffiti preparan sus bocetos previos."
