Tro Press elogió el álbum, calificándolo como "un disco pop absolutamente maravilloso, una subversión de las fórmulas del Top 40 y llevándolo a los términos idiosincrásicos (pero absolutamente accesibles) del dúo". La última canción del disco, The River, cuenta con la aportación del hermano de Brian, Roger Eno, en los teclados.
