The living God who delivers, is worthy to be praised in the ordinary routines of life.

The God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is powerful and trustworthy. Regardless of outcome, remain faithful to God. / El Dios de Sadrac, Mesac y Abednego es poderoso y digno de confianza. Sin importar las consecuencias, permanece fiel a Dios.

People discuss their current situation and claim they are “blessed by God.” When they do this, they usually refer to something going well in their life, career, spouse, kids, health, etc. We might not just hear others say it, we might do this ourselves. The question that this begs, “does that mean when things are hard, when situations in our life are not going as hoped for or planned, that ‘God is not blessing us?’” Furthermore, is this uncomfortable situation we face in our life caused by something we have done wrong, forcing God not to bless us? In Daniel’s life, we will learn that being blessed for our faithfulness does not come with physical prosperity & comfort, but rather it is used by God to demonstrate His glory to others and the hope and promise of eternal life. us as we explore his life and how his example of faith encourages us to trust the Lord even when facing trials.   

 All those who look to God can experience His goodness in every situation. 

What happened/happens after Easter? For the disciples, for the church, and for me in my daily life? We dig into Acts 4 to look at one example.

Jesus' disciples didn't his prophetic words and didn't expect his resurrection. They were skeptics that had to be convinced that he had risen from the dead. His disciples today do well to his prophetic words and eagerly await his return.

This Palm Sunday sermon explores the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Luke 19:28–40, revealing Him as the prophesied King who rides intentionally toward suffering to bring true salvation. Through fulfilled prophecy and public praise, we see a Savior who is both sovereign and sacrificial. In a world looking for power and victory, Jesus offers a different kind of kingship—one marked by humility, obedience, and love.  

All of us have room to grow in our prayer lives. In one of Jesus’ most famous teachings on prayer, He helps His disciples on throughout the generations know 3 attitude shifts we need to make in prayer.

What is the "one thing" you feel you need in order to make your life all that you want it to be? A happier marriage? More money? Better health? The Scripture tells us that real life comes from knowing Jesus first. When Jesus is our “one thing,” we can trust Him to take care of everything else. Will you and I commit to making Jesus the center of our lives?

There is a natural rhythm between work and rest but it can very difficult to find a healthy balance between those 2 responsibilities in our life. Jesus promises us rest yet we struggle to rest. So we will determine what rest actually is as God designed it and how we can build in healthy rhythms of rest in our life.

  We are tempted to sin daily by following our fleshly desires. But before we ever act on the sin, we can follow the Holy Spirit by transforming how we think when the sinful temptation happens. We do this by changing the things that influence our minds. First, we flee ungodly company. Then, we pursue righteous company(knowing the Word of God, living in Godly fellowship, discerning life through the word of God).

Jesus redefines neighborly love, challenging us to move beyond social boundaries and convenience to show mercy to those in need.

Following Jesus is not glamorous or sensical by the world’s standards; but it is the most blessed life you can live, the way of the Kingdom of God. 

The Christian life is dictated by who Jesus is. In Luke 9 the scriptures show us that Jesus is our Abundant Provider, Suffering Servant, and Glorious King. The Christian life is worth living because Jesus is who he says he is. Only Jesus can satisfy us, only Jesus can make our lives worth living, and Jesus' return guarantees that following him is the right choice.   

We matter to Jesus in every aspect of our lives, as illustrated through lessons from Luke chapters 7 and 8. Jesus cares for our suffering, fears, and doubts, as seen in His miracles of healing and deliverance.  He acknowledges human brokenness, addressing religious misconceptions and offering grace to sinners, as demonstrated in His interaction with the sinful woman. Jesus also upholds the value of all people, regardless of status, affirming that in His kingdom, we are all equal before the cross. Lastly, the Parable of the Sower and the Soils challenges us to examine how we receive and respond to God's Word, calling us to faith, transformation, and commitment. 

Having received mercy, we are called to be intentionally merciful to others.

We cannot save ourselves from our greatest enemies: death, Satan, and sin. Only God has that power. Jesus, God’s only Son, came to save those who cannot save themselves, and that’s all of us. He came to bring us good news: Everyone who knows Him can be a part of His kingdom, now and for eternity.

Lame man did nothing to earn salvation or sanctification but he did get up and walk.  We share a practical tool for walking in prayer

In 2025, I pray that at our Midtown Campus we will grow corporately in a firm identity as a local church body. I pray that in our gatherings, we will grow collectively in Christ-centered community, and that we will do this by being Jesus for each other and by bringing God's Word to each other. Finally, I pray that each of us will grow individually in personal, grace-filled relationships with Jesus.

This sermon uses Simeon and Anna’s encounter with the infant Jesus (Luke 2:22–38) as a model for a hope that stands the test of time. Simeon demonstrates unshakeable hope, waiting patiently for God’s promise despite long delays, while Anna exemplifies unlimited hope, boldly sharing the good news without hesitation and beyond human circumstances and limits. Together, their lives show that true Christian hope is un-temporarily (eternal), rooted not in ing circumstances but in the everlasting promises of God. Through their examples, believers are encouraged to be steadfast, bold, and eternally focused, trusting God’s perfect timing and purpose because of Jesus, our Savior and Eternal Hope.
