In 2002, Daniel Wade Moore was convicted and sentenced to death for the 1999 murder of Karen Tipton, an Alabama mother and wife. But after new information from the FBI surfaced, in 2005 the same judge who sentenced Moore ordered him to be released. A second trial was held, ending in a hung jury.
